7 albums released after the death of Tupac Shakur

2 more albums (a Greatest Hits album, and a soundtrack to a documentary about his life) came out since his death. The most recent album, Pac’s Life, came out only 5 years ago, 2006, 10 years after Tupac died. (See his discography on Wikipedia). Half of his posthumous albums hit #1 on the charts, and there have actually been more posthumous albums released than albums released during Tupac’s life.

As Cracked pointed out, there were actually more Tupac albums released from 1996-2006 than there were albums from Eminem, Dr. Dre, Pearl Jam, and the Smashing Pumpkins. So even after his demise, Tupac has been a more prolific musician than people who are actually alive.
