Do you know if a Dog could easily cost you over $12,000 in its lifetime.!???
Remember, there’s really no such thing as a free dog. You have to feed it and take it to a vet. Not counting the amount of money you spend on repairing damages your furry friend will do to your property, a small to medium sized dog is estimated to cost between $7,240 and $12,700 over the course of its life. Dogs are typically more expensive in the first year that you get them because of the vaccinations (and hopefully spaying/neutering). After that expensive first year, your annual dog expenses should add up to about $500-$875. A larger dog, which requires more food every year, will technically tend not to cost as much in its lifetime ($5,850-$7,950) because of the fact that large dogs tend to have shorter lifespans (an estimated 8 years vs an estimated 14 for small or medium dogs).
