There is two stone lions in front of the New York Public Library and There Names is Patience and Fortitude.

This past Monday, May 23, was actually the lions’ 100th birthdays! The New York Public Library officially opened just over 100 years ago, complete with the two iconic lion statues. The pair didn’t receive their names until the 1930s. Mayor Fiorello LaGuardia named them after the two virtues needed to survive the Great Depression, and the names stuck ever since. Patience and Fortitude are now the Library’s mascots; they’ve been trademarked and serve as the Library’s logo. They were originally carved out of marble for $5,000 and have survived exposure to the elements in New York until 2004, when they were finally cleaned and restored. Ludacris is not ready to tie the knot just yet, says a source close to the rapper. Amidst rumors that he and longtime girlfriend Eudoxie Agnan exchanged vows earlier this month, a source confirmed to wakalinext that the story was false.

Stories of a possible marriage hit the media circuit after Agnan changed her Facebook status from "in a relationship" to "married," with no explanation.

Luda, born Christopher Bridges, has been dating Agnan for over two years, and according to the source, has no plans of getting married. Although he is tight-lipped about his relationship, the two are often seen out and about at various events.

On the music side of things, Luda plans on releasing a new album, 'Ludaversal,' later this year. Over the weekend, he helped kick off baseball season and Civil Rights Game Week with a free performance following an Atlanta Braves game at Turner Field.

The 33-year-old also continues to beef up his acting resume, having starred in the film 'No Strings Attached,' alongside Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher, earlier this year.

In March, Luda began filming the new comedy, 'New Year's Eve,' which features a star-studded cast including Hilary Swank, Jessica Biel, Sarah Jessica Parker and Halle Berry. The film is set for a January 2012 premiere.

After Eating Raw Meat Music Producer Mark Ronson Died

Atlanta punk band Black Lips are known for embracing their hard-partying ways, but even they would probably balk at being remembered for accidentally killing super-producer Mark Ronson.

Ronson teamed up with the garage rockers last year to work on the band's sixth album, 'Arabia Mountain,' but was apparently struck down with potentially deadly food poisoning after some ill-advised thematic catering decisions.

"To get in the mood to record [album track] 'Raw Meat' we started eating all this liver sashimi," Lips singer Cole Alexander explained. "Then we all started getting sick from it. Mark had to go to hospital because his fever was so high. His brain was cooking, man."

"I thought maybe I was hungover or something," Ronson reported. "Then I started shivering uncontrollably. The next thing, the band are putting all these blankets over me. I wake up an hour later, just f***ing moaning and groaning.

"One of them touched my skin and they were like, 'Listen dude, we've got to get you to a hospital,'" the producer continued. "When I was there I was diagnosed with something with a lot of syllables in it. I almost died. But I don't think it was intentional on their part."
